Just Getting Started

Just getting started... I am not much of a writer but when I heard one of my hall mate's say she "blogged", I liked the idea. I'll have to admit, I live a pretty simple life but it is the most amazing life I could ever imagine. I have an amazing, loving family, friends that have come and gone, and the love of my life. I don't want to take credit for anything I've done in my life that is good, because I am honestly nothing without my Lord and Savior. I am saved by God's amazing grace. I received Christ about 6 years ago. I don't have a "dramatic" testimony about being on drugs or being an alcoholic, I'm only 19. But I do have a testimony. We can get to that another day! I know that everything good in my life comes from the One who rescued me from a life of sin and death. I'm not a perfect person, I'm not the most outgoing person in the world, I am decent at only a few sports, and I have absolutely no musical talents whatsoever, haha. But I am God's creation, and I have been made new through Him. I have confidence in myself and the gifts He has given me, not because others might accept me, but because He already has. 

I am excited about this new world of "blogging" and I am even more excited to share what God is doing in my life.
